On June 28, millions from across the globe tuned in for the exhilarating Milu Deer King competition, held in the scenic Yancheng City of Jiangsu Province, China. "Since our establishment, we have successfully translocated 448 deer to 26 protected sites. We maintain rigorous monitoring processes, especially during critical biological phases such as calving and rutting seasons, to ensure the health of the populations," explained Xie Shengbin, director of the Yancheng Milu Deer Research Institute. This competition, branded as the Deer King event, establishes a novel precedent for cooperation among various sites to further enhance conservation efforts.
