HA-LU: Celebrating One Year of Innovation and Creativity

Founded in April 2024, HA-LU has marked its first anniversary as a standout player in the world of short dramas. Based in Minato, Tokyo, and spearheaded by CEO Haruhito Oka, this organization has rapidly established itself as a creative hub that captures the hearts of viewers with engaging content. The core of HA-LU's mission is to refine and modernize the concept of youth through the lens of short drama narratives.

In just one year, HA-LU has accomplished remarkable milestones:
  • - Initiated partnerships with prominent companies, including collaborations with Docomo's video streaming service Lemino.

  • - The flagship work, Haru Gakuen, has achieved over 200 million views, highlighting its popularity.
  • - Expanded into brand support and marketing initiatives, achieving a striking 1,000% increase in revenue compared to the previous year.

These accomplishments validate HA-LU's approach to content creation, focusing on engaging short dramas that resonate with a broad audience.

Future Endeavors: Embracing Change and Innovation

Looking ahead, HA-LU is gearing up for three significant initiatives that reflect its commitment to nurturing creativity and expanding its influence:

1. Initiating the 'Creator Theme Park' Concept

HA-LU plans to create an environment that fosters creativity, referred to as the 'Creator Theme Park.' This initiative will focus on discovering and developing intellectual properties (IPs) that inspire young creators. By providing a platform where aspiring talents can flourish, HA-LU aims to cultivate a supportive ecosystem that empowers creators to engage with their passions.

2. Diverse Content Expansion

In addition to production, HA-LU is diversifying its approach by developing original works across various mediums, including dramas, anime, and manga. It seeks to combine online and offline events, delivering immersive experiences to audiences. This multi-faceted strategy will broaden the reach of HA-LU’s IP and adapt to changing consumer preferences in entertainment.

3. Hosting the 'Shibuya Aoharu 2.0 Festival'

Scheduled for the summer of 2025, HA-LU aims to captivate Tokyo's Shibuya district with the 'Aoharu Festival.' This event promises an exciting concoction of visual art, traditional shrines, unique merchandise, and lively performances that resonate with Generation Alpha and Z’s sensibilities. Collaborating with local cultural pioneers, HA-LU seeks to create meaningful experiences for both exhibitors and attendees, bridging creativity with community engagement.
