Announcing the 3rd Kosen Entrepreneur Summit
The
3rd Kosen Entrepreneur Summit, organized by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) and Gekkan Kosen, is set to take place on
February 24, 2026, in Hachioji, Tokyo. This event aims to create opportunities for Kosen students to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions, allowing them to present innovative business strategies and interact with like-minded individuals. The summit is designed to foster connections between Kosen students aspiring to become entrepreneurs and supportive businesses, as part of the Kosen Startup Support Project spearheaded by NIT and Gekkan Kosen.

Summit Overview
The Kosen Entrepreneur Summit serves as a gathering point for students from across Kosen institutes who have an interest in starting their own businesses. The upcoming event will feature three distinct categories for team presentations, allowing for a structured presentation format based on the progress of their business ideas:

In total,
45 teams are expected to pitch their business plans during the summit, promoting a lively exchange of ideas and collaboration among participants. This restructured format is aimed at maximizing the relevance of presentations to the various stages of development that student startups may be at.

- - Date: February 24, 2026 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- - Venue: Hitotsubashi Auditorium, 2-1-2 Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo
- - Check-in Time: From 9:30 AM (Registration will remain open until 3:00 PM)
- - Please note, participants will not be able to join the opening ceremony or networking events scheduled for the previous day, February 23.

- Idea Section: 13 teams (2nd floor, Conference Room)
- Parallel poster exhibitions will be held in the Special Conference Room on the 1st floor.
- - Break (12:00 PM - 1:15 PM)
- - Afternoon Session (1:15 PM - 3:10 PM):
- Prototype Section: 4 teams (2nd floor, Hitotsubashi Auditorium)
- Startup Section: 6 teams (2nd floor, Hitotsubashi Auditorium)
- Idea Section: 12 teams (2nd floor, Conference Room)
- Poster exhibitions will continue on the 1st floor.
- - Break (3:10 PM - 3:45 PM)
- - Awards Ceremony and Closing Remarks (3:45 PM - 4:30 PM)

- - It is mandatory to register beforehand to attend the event.
- - Without prior confirmation of your registration, you may not be permitted to enter the venue.
- - Attendance is strictly limited to those associated with Kosen, including staff, students, OBOG, families, media, and sponsors. If you are not in these categories but wish to attend, please contact the administration ([email protected]).
