The Return of Rhonda Shear's Up All Night: Bringing Back Nostalgia and Horror Fun

We may have a bit of eyeliner, some cleavage, and a whole lot of sarcasm, but we are here to stay,” she exclaims. This new incarnation of the beloved show promises to be 'louder, sassier, and even funnier' as it relaunches its celebration of horror films paired with comedy skits and engaging content.

Produced at Shear Media Studios located in Tampa Bay, the new episodes will have a nostalgic essence, complete with themed sets that bring back the charm of the original show. The revival will also incorporate a variety of live events, comedic sketches, guest appearances, and celebrity drop-ins, making it feel like a real horror house party.

Richard Signeski, CEO of Blue Sky Media, which owns Kings of Horror, expressed enthusiasm about having Rhonda back for this revival. He mentioned how the merger of her dedicated fan base with the horror community created by Kings of Horror presents an excellent opportunity to craft something extraordinary.

Patrick Farmer, the Programming Director at Kings of Horror, shared his excitement, stating that working with Rhonda was akin to capturing lightning in a bottle. He sees the show as not merely a revival but an opportunity to foster a late-night party atmosphere, encouraging audiences to connect and discover indie horror films alongside cult classics.

The new episodes of Up All Night will spotlight indie films ranging from grassroots independent projects to festival winners, alongside a rich selection of classic cult features. The creative team behind this revival includes scream queens Linnea Quigley and Felissa Rose, musician John Brennan, special guest and comedic actor Yuki, and filmmaker Richard Gabai.

For many, Rhonda Shear is a recognizable figure, having entertained audiences for eight years and over 450 episodes of USA Up All Night with her outrageous humor and engaging personality. She was known for introducing fans to a variety of horror and B-movies and establishing a legacy that many fans still cherish.
