Modular Devices Expands Sales Team for Cleanrooms Division

Modular Devices, well-recognized for its innovative mobile and modular cleanroom solutions, has recently made notable additions to its sales team. Jason Thompson and Stephanie Powers Kurtz have joined as key members to further strengthen the company's presence in the cleanrooms market. This strategic move underscores a period of exciting growth, especially following the acquisition of significant companies in the industry.

New Appointments and Their Backgrounds

Jason Thompson comes onboard as the Director of Cleanroom Sales. With over two decades of experience in sales, business development, and strategic planning, he brings a wealth of knowledge from the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Jason previously held a leadership role at Trane Technologies, where he was responsible for the global sales strategy of cold storage solutions brand. His academic credentials include an MBA in Innovation and Technology from Wright State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Cedarville University. Additionally, he is an active participant in the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), signaling his dedication to the field.

On the other hand, Stephanie Powers Kurtz takes on the role of Technical Cleanroom Sales Account Executive. With a decade of hands-on experience in business development focused on life sciences and healthcare, Stephanie is well-equipped to cater to the needs of the company's clients. She previously worked as a Strategic Account Executive at SQA Services and also served as a Senior Business Development Manager at Azzur Cleanrooms on Demand. Stephanie's academic journey includes a Master's in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Villanova University. Like Jason, she is also heavily involved in professional organizations, serving as President Elect of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) Southern California Chapter.

Strategic Expansion of Cleanrooms Division

The addition of these two seasoned professionals comes after the strategic acquisitions of Flow Cleanrooms and Supply and Technical Air Products in 2023. Modular Devices is positioning itself as a comprehensive provider of cleanroom solutions. Their offerings include pre-built cleanrooms available for lease or purchase and customized modular systems designed to cater to various regulated industries, including life sciences, healthcare, and aerospace.
