Uniting Forces Against Corruption: ICAC’s Role in the First IAACA European Conference
In a significant development for international anti-corruption efforts, the ICAC Commissioner, Mr. Woo Ying-ming, recently wrapped up his participation in the inaugural European regional anti-corruption conference in Budapest, Hungary. As President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), Mr. Woo highlighted the importance of a united front in tackling corruption, especially in light of rising geopolitical challenges and evolving corruption tactics.
The conference, which marked a milestone as the largest anti-corruption initiative in Europe, attracted more than 180 delegates from over 70 anti-corruption, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies.
