Explore COCOS' Exquisite Chestnut Fair Featuring Decadent Desserts

COCOS' Chestnut Fair: A Must-Visit Dessert Experience

Starting December 2, COCOS, a popular family restaurant chain in Japan, is hosting its exquisite "Chestnut Fair". This delightful event promises to elevate your dessert experience with four unique offerings that beautifully blend the luxurious flavors of chestnuts, rich chocolate, and crunchy nuts.

Decadent Treats Await

The highlight of the fair is the luxurious chestnut paste made solely from Italian chestnuts and sugar. This rich ingredient brings a delightful sweetness and fragrance that excites the palate. COCOS uses this freshly prepared chestnut paste in various desserts, intricately pairing it with a smooth, subtly sweet chestnut ice cream and roasted chestnut toppings, to create stunning parfaits and crepes.

Featured Desserts:

1. Chestnut and Chocolate Parfait - Priced at 1,150 yen (1,265 yen including tax), this grand parfait features a base of rich chocolate cream layered with chestnut ice cream, caramelized chestnuts, and crunchy caramel-coated pecans, all adorned with a decadent “nami-nami” chocolate topping. The aromatic Italian chestnut paste complements the tart raspberry sauce layered within, alongside a textured hazelnut cream pudding and additional surprises like chocolate flakes and nut-based ice cream. It’s a dessert that provides a complex yet satisfying experience of flavor and texture.

2. Chestnut and Salted Caramel Roll Crepe - This dish, priced at 690 yen (759 yen tax-inclusive), showcases a soft and chewy crepe generously filled with creamy whipped cream and a rich chestnut paste. The addition of salted caramel sauce, featuring Lorraine rock salt, elevates the flavor, while crunchy pecan nuts and candied almonds provide a delightful contrast in texture.

3. Freshly Whipped Mont Blanc Mini Parfait - This mini parfait, available for 490 yen (539 yen with tax), packs a punch of flavor despite its smaller size. The delicious chestnut paste sits atop a hidden layer of vanilla ice cream, creating a harmonious blend of sweetness. Finished with a rich hazelnut pudding and refreshing tea jelly, this parfait is elegantly crafted for a refined dessert experience.

4. Chestnut and Tea Jelly Glass Dessert - Priced at 390 yen (429 yen including tax), this light dessert consists of a silky tea jelly topped with sweet chestnut ice cream and chestnut chunks, delivering a refreshing end to any meal.
