Renan Antoniolli, Tuya’s Regional Director of Industry and Smart Business for Latin America, delivered a keynote entitled “Smart Energy and AI-Powered Sustainability.” In his address, Antoniolli emphasized the widespread adoption of Tuya’s AIoT technologies in energy management across homes, commercial buildings, and cities. By employing real-time data analytics, connected devices facilitate an intelligent ecosystem enabling individuals, organizations, and governments to make more informed energy decisions.

With a platform that encompasses over 3,000 product categories, Tuya illustrated how AIoT is reshaping urban efficiency and climate initiatives through tangible implementations. In France, Tuya's Home Energy Management System (HEMS) has been embraced by partners such as Xanlite, Mazda, and Thaleos. By monitoring real-time energy use and programming devices through AI algorithms, households can reduce electricity consumption by 25% to 30%.

In Brazil, Tuya has teamed up with WEG, a multinational engineering and automation firm, to create smart home applications. These solutions allow comprehensive control over devices and energy management, thereby redefining low-carbon, high-quality living experiences. Moreover, Tuya has collaborated with smart home service provider Hometree to develop energy-saving solutions powered by AI, featuring motion-activated lighting, remote appliance shutdown capabilities, and real-time energy monitoring.
