Vantage Foundation Partners with The Habbit Factory to Empower Youth
The Vantage Foundation has recently announced its partnership with The Habbit Factory, a well-established charity based in London, dedicated to harnessing the power of theatre and creativity to nurture confidence and self-expression in young people. This collaboration reflects Vantage Foundation's long-standing commitment to community engagement and its mission to empower youth, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.
The Habbit Factory has built a reputation for over two decades as a leader in creative youth development. It designs innovative, theatre-based programs intended to help children and teenagers hone their public speaking and storytelling skills while boosting their personal confidence. Currently, The Habbit Factory supports 156 members through its various initiatives and reaches out to hundreds more through educational partnerships and school outreach programs.
As part of this partnership, Vantage Foundation volunteers actively participated in a creative workshop held by The Habbit Factory, bringing their energy and enthusiasm to inspire the younger generation. One notable participant, Ben Joseph, who has a background in dance and performing arts, emphasized the significance of these engagements. “Many of these children come from underprivileged backgrounds and may struggle with self-esteem or confidence,” he explained. “By creating a secure and supportive environment, we help them to grow, express their individuality, and find their voice. The Habbit Factory is a safe and encouraging place for every child, and I take pride in contributing to such meaningful work.”
The success story of The Habbit Factory is largely attributed to its brigade of volunteers, many of whom are alumni returning to give back to the next generation. This reciprocal mentorship and transformation is integral to the charity's thriving impact. Lee Giles, the Artistic Director and CEO of The Habbit Factory, expressed gratitude towards Vantage Foundation, stating, “We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Vantage Foundation at The Habbit Factory. It was a profound opportunity for both teams to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another’s approaches to making a difference in the community.”
Steven Xie, Executive Director of Vantage Foundation, shared his enthusiasm for this collaboration, “Supporting The Habbit Factory aligns deeply with our mission at Vantage Foundation. We believe in fostering confidence through creativity and communal connection. Observing our volunteers engage actively in this powerful, community-driven initiative reaffirms our dedication to making a tangible difference in young people's lives.”
This partnership between Vantage Foundation and The Habbit Factory signifies the transformative potential of compassion and collaboration. Through their joint efforts, they aim to cultivate a future where every child possesses not only the ability but also the confidence to express their voice.
