DLE Group's MYFEEL Launches Innovative Borderless Pre-order Sales Model
In an exciting development for Japanese businesses seeking to expand their reach, MYFEEL Inc., a subsidiary of Tokyo-based DLE Group, has unveiled a new borderless pre-order sales model tailored specifically for the Taiwanese market. This initiative aims to assist Japanese municipalities and local businesses in effectively entering the overseas market.
Introduction of the Business Scheme
As part of the first phase of this borderless pre-order sales model, a collaborative project is set to take place between January and February 2025. The initiative involves cooperation with Gifu Prefecture, allowing local businesses to sell their products through MYFEEL's reservation sales platform in Taiwan. This cross-border endeavor highlights the growing synergy between Japan and Taiwan and leverages modern marketing strategies to boost sales and visibility.
Participating Local Businesses
Several prominent businesses from Gifu Prefecture are part of this initiative, each contributing unique products:
- - Sanjyo Knives Co., Ltd.: Founded in 1873, this esteemed knife manufacturer continues the traditional craftsmanship of Seki City by producing high-quality kitchen knives, including their prestigious "Wa-NAGOMI" series for this project.
- - Nikken Knife Co., Ltd.: Established in 1971, Nikken is known for its uniquely designed products inspired by Japanese swords, like the "Japanese Sword Scissors" and the "Japanese Sword Paper Knife." They are launching a pair of scissors modeled after the famous warlord Oda Nobunaga.
- - Marumo Takagi Pottery Co., Ltd.: Since 1887, this manufacturer specializes in Mino ware ceramics. They will feature the “Seasonal Cooling Glass Set,” which reveals different colors when cold beverages are poured into it.
- - Takano Shoji Co., Ltd.: Founded in 1990, this company develops housing equipment utilizing nanobubble technology. They will present a nanobubble showerhead with gentle skin contact and powerful cleansing abilities.
- - Hosen Kiln (Likestone Series): Established in 1947, this Mino ware kiln crafts modern products that suit contemporary lifestyles, including the "Likestone" flower vase, which boasts a unique stone-like texture.
Achieving Remarkable Sales
The project has successfully surpassed sales momentum, amassing revenue exceeding 3 million yen. This achievement is due not only to effective product listings on the dedicated website but also to comprehensive promotional strategies such as collaborations with local influencers, social media promotion, and offline partnerships with TSUTAYA in Taiwan.

MYFEEL's Unique Support Model
DLE and MYFEEL have devised a support model with several key features:
- - Bilingual Support: Assistance is available in both Japanese and Chinese.
- - Comprehensive Service: The one-stop service encompasses marketing strategies and logistics support.
- - Inventory Risk Mitigation: The pre-order model minimizes inventory risks for participants.
- - Consumer Feedback Insights: Individual feedback from local consumers will be processed and communicated to participating businesses to refine their offerings.
This business model allows municipalities and regional businesses to collaborate with DLE efficiently. MYFEEL will operationalize the project, utilizing both online and offline channels to support local outreach.
Addressing Market Needs
This initiative specifically targets municipalities and regional companies with the following needs:
- - A desire to export products but unsure where to start.
- - Aiming to develop sustainable models for promoting local attractions and expanding markets.
- - Support for local businesses seeking foreign business development opportunities.
- - Interest in market testing for product concepts and design tailored to consumers in Chinese-speaking markets.
DLE plans to expand this model progressively across Japan and is currently working on a second phase of the project while remaining open to consultations.
