On April 8, 2026, the official opening of a cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) charging station took place in Duiven, Netherlands, at the Nieuwe Tijd location. To enhance grid resilience, the site incorporates 10 BUIMA energy storage tiles, each holding 4 kWh of energy, totaling 40 kWh of local energy storage. This integration not only supports demand during peak hours but also stabilizes power delivery and eases the load on the local grid, promoting smarter energy management as electric vehicle usage continues to expand.
