Understanding the Cost Efficiency
According to internal simulations, a hypothetical company with 30 employees could face a staggering cost of approximately 1.19 million yen a month due to the inefficiencies arising from regular task progress checks between managers and their team members. By implementing team task management solutions that promote visibility of tasks, companies can substantially alleviate this financial burden.
However, a recent survey conducted by Nulabo from October 6 to 10, 2023, reveals a concerning trend in task management practices among companies with fewer than 1,000 employees. It showed that the prevalent methods for managing tasks are individual-based, such as emails (31.2%), handwritten notes (30.6%), and business chat tools (14.3%). In contrast, team-oriented task management tools like Excel and dedicated task management tools account for only 25.2% and 11.7% respectively.
Recognizing this gap, Suits Inc. believes that introducing team task management is a crucial first step towards enhancing labor productivity for SMEs. Therefore, the company has initiated the Suit Up 2025 Regional Support Campaign to encourage the adoption of efficient task management practices.
Features of Suit Up
Suits Inc. offers a cloud-based management support platform called Suit Up, designed to facilitate simple and continuous team task management. The service helps visualize business operations, reducing risks associated with missed deadlines or overlooked tasks. As a result, teams can enhance operational efficiency and realize significant cost savings.
Since its soft launch in September 2023 in its alpha version, Suit Up transitioned to a beta version in April 2024, which includes essential features for task management such as templates for tasks, deadline alerts, and standardized tasks capabilities, allowing teams to easily sustain task management on a daily basis.
The standard plan is priced at 1,080 yen per user per month, excluding tax. For smaller organizations with less than 10 users, a starter plan is offered at a reduced rate of 500 yen per user, in consideration of their business scale. Additionally, running through to September 30, 2025, the beta version is offering a limited-time promotion with no initial fees.
