Kamakura Sakura Tea Hangetsu. This seasonal treat will be available starting
January 20, 2026, running until around
April 10, 2026. Known for their charming and classic
Hannage wafers, Kamakura Goro has infused the essence of spring into this latest creation, making it an ideal gift for celebrations and greetings during the season.
A Taste of Spring
The Kamakura Sakura Tea Hangetsu boasts a light and fragrant filling made from sakura tea cream, nestled between crispy wafers. This elegant flavor encapsulates the essence of cherry blossoms in full bloom, offering a mild sweetness that is both refreshing and festive. The sakura tea itself is an aromatic infusion of cherry blossoms in hot water—symbolizing new beginnings and auspicious occasions, making it particularly fitting for graduations and employment celebrations.
Each box comes in two sizes: a pack of
5 pieces for 702 JPY (650 JPY before tax) and a pack of
10 pieces for 1,404 JPY (1,300 JPY before tax). Distribution will be available at various Kamakura Goro locations, including their main store on Komachi Street, the Daimaru Tokyo Store, and the first terminal of Haneda Airport. However, note that item availability may vary by location and the treats will only be available while supplies last.

In conjunction with the release of Sakura Tea Hangetsu, a special spring-themed sweets box titled
Tsuki Yosete will also debut. This charming collection features an assortment of Kamakura’s signature treats, including matcha and red bean flavors of Hangetsu and the beloved
Kamakura Choco Sand. The packaging reflects a picturesque spring scene in Kamakura, dotted with colorful flora, evoking a sense of nostalgia and whimsy. This will be available for
1,674 JPY (1,550 JPY before tax) and will include an assortment of treats for your enjoyment.
