Huawei FusionSolar Hosts the 3rd Global Installer Summit for Shared Success

From June 16 to 19, 2025, Huawei FusionSolar held the 3rd Global Installer Summit at its Sanyapo Campus in Dongguan, China. Gathering partners and leading installers from Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and other regions, the summit aimed to explore market trends in photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems (ESS), while also delving into installer strategies, success stories, and effective marketing methodologies. The event provided a platform for stakeholders to devise comprehensive plans for the future of the distributed energy market.

One of the event's highlights was a welcoming address by Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and Global Marketing, Sales, and Services Head for Huawei Digital Power. He remarked, "Maintaining a customer-centric approach is crucial for Huawei's culture and core values." Yang emphasized that having reliable global partners is key to achieving success in the PV and ESS-driven green energy industry. He reiterated Huawei Digital Power's commitment to digitization, intelligence, and decarbonization to build a better and greener future.

During the summit, Sun Xiaofeng, Head of Marketing and Sales Services for Huawei Digital Power, delivered a speech themed "Building a Sustainable Future Together." He stressed the increasing role of renewable energy as a driving force across new power systems for electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption, moving towards full commercialization and the development of comprehensive scenarios. Through four installer strategies, Huawei FusionSolar plans to assist installers in improving their businesses and achieving success with outstanding solutions that cater to all needs, reliable services, value-driven marketing, and a sustainable business ecosystem.

Fang Liangzhou, CMO of Huawei Digital Power, spoke about strengthening branding and marketing strategies with partners and installers to drive business success. He highlighted the importance of branding and marketing for business growth, showcasing Huawei Digital Power's consistent investment in enhancing its brand image and the successful exploration of joint marketing efforts by partners and installers in regions such as Europe and the Asia-Pacific.

The summit also featured a presentation by Wang Wenyuan, Chief Engineer of the FusionSolar Smart PV Management System. His topic, ‘Smart Design: From Concept to Business Plan in 10 Minutes,’ introduced an efficient and professional online design tool that assists facility owners in designing solutions, with capabilities supporting design standardization, device selection, and intuitive project revenue visualizations. Installers can complete designs within ten minutes without needing to visit the site, showcasing significant improvements in communication efficiency and experience between facility owners and installers through detailed reports demonstrating clear returns on investment (ROI).

Furthermore, Antonio Jiang, Chief Digital Architect of Huawei Digital Power CRM, introduced a one-stop digital platform specifically designed for installers. This platform provides comprehensive services such as corporate registration, certification, marketing support, incentive activities, training, activation, and technical intervention. It aims to establish an effective system for supporting installer development and creating a bridge between Huawei and installers, responding agilely to their needs and enhancing their capabilities and operational efficiency, thus facilitating business growth.

The opening speech by Allen Zeng, Head of Global Technical Service and Operation at Huawei Digital Power, titled "Building Your Success through Engineering: Smarter Installations, Advanced Support, Infinite Opportunities," elaborated on the four major trends; stringent security requirements, record-high installed capacity, the rising importance of ESS, and new growth drivers needed in the market. Huawei focuses on aiding installers in achieving business success by developing a three-dimensional service system that includes simplified installation and maintenance processes, professional intelligent services, and long-term profitability.

Wang Xiao, CTO of Global Residential PV Sales and Services at Huawei Digital Power, discussed the success of installers in the residential market through end-to-end support. He noted development trends, new opportunities, and Huawei FusionSolar's residential solutions, reaffirming Huawei's commitment to continual improvement and integration of third-party ecosystems to create greater business value for installers in the PV+ESS residential sector.

Jack Tong, Head of Commercial and Industrial PV Sales and Services, unveiled a 'One Solution Fits All' solution for the commercial and industrial sector, along with the industry's first 215 kWh Smart Hybrid Cooling Energy Storage System. This system has achieved the first Safety Prime certification from TÜV Rheinland due to its cell-to-consumption (C2C) dual-connected safety design. Notably, it boasts a remarkable round-trip efficiency (RTE) of 91.3%. The unique dual-loop heat distribution design provides better health status (SOH) compared to industry averages, guaranteeing higher available capacity for owners and partners. The overall solution highlights proactive security, superior quality, and profitability while supporting green transformation across diverse industries.

The event also featured the Top Installer Competition, focused on the global exchange of successful experiences in achieving a greener future. The Huawei FusionSolar Creators Award showcased stories of green and low-carbon development from installers' perspectives. Covering various themes such as culture, strategy, technology, and model strengthening, it served as a significant occasion for Huawei FusionSolar partners and installers globally to exchange insights, learn from each other, and grow collectively.

In conclusion, the 3rd Global Installer Summit served as a vital gathering for stakeholders in the solar energy sector, laying down a strong foundation for future collaborations that aim to enhance the industry's resilience and adaptability in meeting the evolving demands of sustainable energy.
