Fruit Attraction 2025

Fruit Attraction, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, is making significant strides as it gears up for its next event from September 30 to October 2, 2025. With just four months to go, the exhibition has already secured an impressive 90% occupancy rate, signaling strong interest from exhibitors and attendees alike.

María José Sánchez, the event director, recently made the announcement during a press conference that marked the 17th edition of the fair. Along with her, Cecilio Peregrín and José María Pozancos from FEPEX also attended, emphasizing the importance of this event in the global marketplace.

Set to take place at the Madrid Exhibition Centre, Fruit Attraction will feature a sprawling exhibition space of 70,000 square meters, reflecting an 8% increase from the previous year’s layout. The event expects over 2,500 exhibiting companies and more than 120,000 professionals from approximately 150 countries to participate.

This edition of Fruit Attraction stands as a pivotal moment in the fair's history, underscoring its position as one of the premier trade fairs in the world for the fruit and vegetable sector. The strategic expansion and new sectorization of the event promise to enhance the experience for both exhibitors and visitors. A total of ten exhibition halls will host displays, establishing Madrid as the global hub for fresh produce marketing.

Prominently, the odd-numbered halls will showcase new products and innovations from Spanish companies, notably featuring the InnovaTech space in Hall 5. Meanwhile, the even-numbered halls will highlight international participation, with various halls dedicated to European, American, African, and Asian companies. Hall 4 will include the Fresh Food Logistics space, enhancing the comprehensive representation of the supply chain present at the fair.

Highlighting its commitment to diversity and new trends, this year’s event will feature the tomato as its star product. A series of thematic activities will spotlight this essential crop, which remains Spain’s most consumed vegetable and a key economic player in the industry. Additionally, the 2025 edition will place significant emphasis on organic products, with targeted actions aimed at enhancing the visibility of exhibitors specializing in organic goods.

The renowned international buyers’ program will return, bolstered by the invitations extended to key importing countries. This year, Mexico and Malaysia will take center stage, providing invaluable opportunities for networking and business development.

For the second consecutive time, Fruit Attraction will present the Best Stand Awards, recognizing exhibiting spaces that excel in creativity, design, and sustainable practices in four categories: Most Original Stand, Best Design, Most Sustainable Stand, and Public Choice for Best Overall Stand.

Moreover, the Innovation Hub Awards will spotlight the best projects, products, or services that showcase innovation, sustainability, and technology application. All submitted innovations will be displayed in the Innovation Hub area, positioned between Halls 4 and 6 throughout the event.

As it continues to drive industry knowledge, Fruit Attraction will host various forums featuring a robust program of technical seminars characterized by the diversity of topics and the high caliber of speakers participating. Key events will include the Grape Attraction congress, Biofruit congress, and Fresh Food Logistics Summit.

Exhibition hours are set from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 4:00 PM close on the final day. As the excitement builds, Fruit Attraction 2025 is poised to further its legacy and offer an unparalleled platform for fresh produce industry stakeholders to connect, innovate, and thrive.
