Celebrate Christmas at the New Gindako Highball Tavern
This festive season, Gindako is setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience with the grand opening of the
Gindako Highball Tavern in Gotanda on December 23, 2025. As a subsidiary of
Hotland Holdings, with its main office located in Chuo City, Tokyo, the tavern promises to deliver an exciting array of new menu items alongside its beloved classics.
Previously known as the
Gindako Highball Yokocho Gotanda, the tavern has relocated and rebranded to offer a more inviting atmosphere just three minutes away from Gotanda Station's East Exit, along Sony Street. The venue has undergone significant renovations, featuring cozy semi-private areas separated by traditional curtains, aiming to enhance your dining experience.
What's New?
While Gindako is popular for its delicious takoyaki, the new menu introduces a variety of dishes including fried items and grilled delicacies, alongside innovative steamed dishes that elevate the culinary experience. For instance, diners can enjoy authentic handmade steamed dishes made with self-made dough, ensuring a fluffy texture and rich flavors encapsulated within.
Among the highlights are
xiao long bao (soup dumplings) and
shumai, meticulously crafted to deliver an explosion of taste with every bite. The menu features unique creations such as
steamed pork kimchi,
steamed potatoes with salted squid, and
steamed pork belly—each option promising a delightful taste of healthiness and luxury. Moreover, customers can engage in the lively atmosphere of an open kitchen where steaming dishes emit tantalizing aromas.
Steamed Dishes Showcase
