Taiwan is taking a significant step towards becoming a global hub for innovation in artificial intelligence (AI) and integrated circuits (IC) with the introduction of the Best AI Awards 2025. The competition, advised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and organized by the Department of Industrial Technology, aims to attract talent from around the world, offering a grand prize of NT$1 million (approximately USD 32,000).
The Best AI Awards 2025 is open to students and professionals worldwide, aiming to promote innovative ideas and practical applications in AI and IC design. Submissions for the competition are accepted from early March to April 8, 2025. The winners will be celebrated in Taipei during the final round presentation in early May 2025. Participants will have the chance to receive special visas that allow them to work in Taiwan and access exclusive training opportunities, forging stronger connections within Taiwan's booming tech sector.

The Best AI Awards 2025 focuses primarily on two significant themes: AI Applications and IC Design. The event encourages participants to propose cutting-edge solutions that demonstrate potential for significant impact in real-world industries.
