One such advancement is the latest update to the official mobile application for the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza (Karuizawa PSP), a popular resort-themed shopping destination located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. This app now includes a Wi-Fi automatic connection feature, greatly enhancing user convenience and connectivity within the shopping complex.

Development Background

PC Phase Inc., headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, has collaborated with Seibu Real Estate Co., Ltd., the owner of Karuizawa PSP, to develop this new feature. The official Karuizawa PSP app received an upgrade on September 18, 2025, which introduced the auto-connect function by leveraging high-security Wi-Fi provided by Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd.

With this advancement, app users can seamlessly connect to approximately 250 access points throughout the shopping plaza, ensuring they enjoy a reliable and secure internet experience while they shop, dine, or engage in various activities.
