Special Edition Launch! Confetti Nagoya Edition: Next Artist Nagoya Feature
Long Run Planning Co., based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has announced the launch of a special edition of the theater information magazine, Confetti, for the Nagoya area, set to be released in March 2026. This edition aims to bring entertainment closer to the public, enhancing the live arts experience in central Aichi Prefecture.
The magazine will be distributed at various venues, including theaters, public cultural facilities, and tourist spots within the Aichi region. Readers can look forward to discovering the latest in performing arts, from theater and musicals to traditional performances and concerts, enriching their knowledge and enjoyment of live entertainment.
The feature titled 'Next Artist Nagoya' presents five promising young artists selected by four prestigious arts universities in Aichi Prefecture: Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, Nagoya University of Arts, Nagoya College of Music, and Kinjo Gakuin University. In addition, the feature will highlight one artist who has been recognized under the 'Rebranding' initiative aimed at supporting already established professionals.
The cover spotlights three talented performers from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music: Kana Hayakawa (violin), Ren Watanabe (baritone), and Iru Ichikawa (piano). Hayakawa performs an inaugural solo recital centered on compositions by Richard Strauss, representing late Romanticism. Meanwhile, Watanabe and Ichikawa will present a duo recital themed around poetry, showcasing a combination of lieder (German art songs) and piano pieces.
You can find the Confetti Nagoya Edition at theaters, cultural facilities, and various public venues across Aichi. Be sure to grab your copy at nearby theaters, shops, or train stations.
