Pan Global Resources Reports Significant Gold and Copper Intercepts in Spain's Cármenes Project

Promising Developments at Cármenes Project

Pan Global Resources Inc., a prominent entity in copper and gold exploration, has unveiled promising drilling results from their Cármenes Project located in northern Spain. The assays from drillholes PVD03 and PVD04 have highlighted intervals rich in gold, copper, with additional findings of nickel and cobalt, suggesting the site’s substantial mineral potential.

Recent Assays and Discoveries

The drill campaign at Cármenes aims to unlock the prospects of the area, and these new results serve as an encouraging step towards that goal. Noteworthy findings include:

  • - Drillhole PVD03: Uncovered a wide gold interval near the surface, extending east of the previously worked mine. Notable intercepts included:
- 56 meters at 0.37 g/t gold starting from 29 meters, which features high-grade segments such as 4 meters at 2.19 g/t gold.

  • - Drillhole PVD04: Encountered high-grade copper and cobalt, as well as significant gold spanning:
- 110 meters at 0.23 g/t gold, including valuable overlaps of 4 meters at 0.59 g/t gold with considerable copper and cobalt.

These results illustrate the presence of extensive breccia-hosted mineralization around the historical Providencia mine, an area previously noted for copper and cobalt production.

Expansion of Mineralization Zones

Tim Moody, President and CEO of Pan Global, expressed optimism about the findings, explaining, "The extensive intervals of mineralization we are encountering suggest significant hydrothermal activity in the area. The ongoing drillholes are positioned to push further into a high-potential gold zone, notably east of the historic workings."

With the project’s drill program poised to explore additional unexplored targets, there’s an exciting prospect for more discoveries. Assays from initial drillhole PVD02 indicated even higher-grade mineralization with 6.27 g/t gold over 4 meters, providing a solid foundation for the exploratory efforts.

Upcoming Goals

To further explore the rich mineralization at Cármenes, the next three drillholes will specifically target areas identified to have strong anomalous gold properties. This strategic plan follows encouraging channel sampling that recorded impressive 3.11 g/t gold over 37 meters.

Enhancement of geological understanding at Cármenes has also been achieved through a recent helicopter survey, which mapped electrical, magnetic, and radiometric characteristics across the site. This survey has revealed multiple new targets resembling the promising Providencia area, indicating the likelihood of additional mineral discovery.

Continued Commitment to Exploration

Pan Global remains committed to advancing its exploration programs and retaining a strong focus on sustainable practices. The Cármenes Project, spanning approximately 5,653 hectares, is in line with the company’s goal of tapping into the increasing demand for copper and gold, especially given the sustainable energy transition trends driving commodity prices.

The company’s proven team specializes in the exploration and development of mineral deposits and aims to comply with safety protocols and respect environmental considerations as laid out by the United Nations Global Compact principles.

In summary, Pan Global Resources is charting an exciting journey at the Cármenes Project, keen on pushing the boundaries of exploration while seeking new opportunities for resource development in Spain. As drilling progresses, the company intends to capitalize on this potential, presenting a promising outlook for its stakeholders and the broader mining community.
