This unique event is part of Shinagawa Ward's new hometown tax initiative, allowing residents to directly contribute to local development while enjoying a thrilling eSports experience.

For the first time, Sega's eSports offerings are being utilized as rewards for hometown tax donations. The event is scheduled to take place on September 23, 2025, at the Sega Sammy Group headquarters. Prominent players like Pipo Nia and Delta, both of whom hold Japan eSports professional licenses, will be present for this event. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in special lessons conducted by the professional players, face off against them in friendly competitions, and engage in enjoyable interactions. This event appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned veterans.

Sega has long been an active participant in community initiatives in Shinagawa, leveraging its expertise in gaming and eSports to contribute positively to the region. In the past, Sega has provided free educational materials, including programming educational content through Puyo Puyo, to local elementary schools. These initiatives have included conducting classes and organizing programming courses for junior high and elementary school students in collaboration with Shinagawa Ward.
