Anker Charging Cables Installed in Yoshinoya Restaurants
In a groundbreaking partnership, Anker Japan has initiated the installation of its charging cables in all seats of Yoshinoya restaurant locations across the Kanto region. This move aims to create a seamless dining experience for customers, allowing them to charge their smartphones while enjoying their meals. Currently, 39 locations are participating in the pilot program, with a plan to expand to nearly 220 Yoshinoya establishments across the region by September 2025.
Yoshinoya, a popular chain known for its delicious and affordable beef bowls, has taken this innovative step to meet the dual needs of hunger and connectivity among its patrons. The initiative is designed to ensure that customers can charge their devices while they eat, thus combining convenience with quality dining. By integrating Anker's advanced technology, Yoshinoya is elevating the typical dining experience.
The charging cables being installed are the
Anker PowerLine III Flow USB-C & USB-C cables. These cables feature a
silicone exterior that offers a softness not found in traditional charging cables, and they are designed to resist tangling. This means that customers can easily use them without the frustration of knots or twists, supporting their on-the-go lifestyles. The cables are also durable, capable of withstanding approximately 25,000 bends, ensuring longevity for frequent use.
The seating at Yoshinoya will include charging boxes equipped with Anker power strips, enabling quick charging up to 67W for smartphones and tablets. Each charging box features a magnetized cable holder, which makes it simple to store the cables when they are not in use. This thoughtful design encapsulates Anker’s commitment to convenience and user-friendly experiences.
