Huawei Unveils Cutting-Edge Solutions at MWC Barcelona 2025 to Drive Industry Transformation
During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025, Huawei held the Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit, a pivotal event that brought together global customers and partners to delve into the innovative methods facilitating industrial transformation through digital and intelligent technologies. This summit led to the unveiling of a remarkable 83 global showcases aimed at digital and intelligent transformation across 71 key scenarios.
In line with its dedication to fostering industry change, Huawei, in collaboration with its partners, also introduced 10 significant solutions designed to expedite smart transformation in numerous sectors such as public services, education, finance, power supply, transportation, oil and gas, chemicals, and retail.
Four Key Strategies for Accelerating Industrial Intelligence
In his keynote address, Leo Chen, Huawei's Corporate Senior Vice President and President of Enterprise Sales, outlined four pivotal strategies necessary to spur smart transformation across all sectors. According to him:

Integration of Technologies: It's essential to deeply embed technologies within industry scenarios and build an ICT architecture tailored to the intelligent shifts that align with specific industry requirements, challenges, and development stages.

AI Product Innovation: Developing robust AI products that seamlessly integrate with open-source models and enhancing AI development toolchains is vital. Collaborating with industry partners is necessary for shifting AI from a technical novelty to a widely accessible tool that accelerates transformations, especially in health and education sectors.

Targeted Talent Training: There's a pressing need to train ICT talents who can integrate industry scenarios and technologies effectively.
Huawei's Commitment to Innovation and Collaboration
Huawei showcased its commitment to both customers and innovation by presenting a comprehensive catalog of global showcases that serve as a valuable reference for organizations embarking on their transformational journey. In total, 83 global showcases were made available to customers worldwide, significantly enriching their understanding of how to navigate digital transformations. Alongside this, Huawei continuously deepens its partnerships across various industries to foster collaborative innovations.
The 10 significant solutions introduced during the summit include inclusive connectivity strategies, public service digitalization infrastructures, digital training modules, financial data center resilience frameworks, intelligent distribution solutions, smart railway yard systems, intelligent port operation management, intelligent central processing facilities, chemical solutions, and innovative retail strategies.
Furthermore, to promote AI adoption in various sectors, Huawei introduced AI inference appliances capable of supporting over 50 major mainstream models. These appliances are intended to ease accessibility and application of AI for industrial clients, forming a pathway to a more intelligent future.
Strengthening Global Collaboration and Best Practices
Ciyong Zou, Deputy Director-General at UNIDO, opened the event, affirming that Huawei's partnership with UNIDO exemplifies the power of collaboration among different stakeholders. He emphasized that technology must serve the public good, guided by principles of justice, sustainability, and cooperation. This reinforces Huawei’s dedication to developing sustainable technologies that benefit all parties involved.
Key industry representatives, including Mahmoud Bin Ahmed from Integrated Dawiyat, shared insights on how their organizations are prioritizing digital infrastructures and strategic investments to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Xiaomi Portier from VusionGroup also expressed a commitment to using digital transformation as a pathway to a sustainable future, highlighting the importance of working with Huawei to drive impactful innovations.
