Javits Convention Center will transform into a canine paradise as the American Kennel Club (AKC) presents the beloved Meet the Breeds event, sponsored by Purina Pro Plan.

A Unique Gathering for Dog Enthusiasts

This immersive experience is not just for seasoned dog lovers; it’s a fantastic chance for families and those considering adopting a pet to learn about different breeds and what it takes to care for them.

At this educational event, visitors can engage with dog experts and discover which breed might best fit their lifestyle. The setup will include booths designed to resemble the dogs' countries of origin, giving a glimpse into their historical roles and characteristics.

Not only can attendees meet a variety of breeds, but they can also participate in exciting demonstrations showcasing the skills and athleticism of dogs. From agility tests to search-and-rescue demonstrations, the event promises to highlight the incredible capabilities of our canine companions.

Fun for Everyone

The Meet the Breeds event is perfect for everyone, including children. A dedicated kid's zone will feature interactive activities, ensuring that fun is had by all. Kids can test their agility in an interactive fun zone and participate in games and photo opportunities with the adorable dogs.

Traditional event tickets are priced at $10 for children and $35 for adults, with VIP admission packages available for those wanting an upgraded experience. For a limited time, attendees can use the promo code MEET to receive $5 off general admission.
