CreatorWeek Macao 2025 Wrap-Up



CreatorWeek Macao 2025, co-organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Branded, successfully concluded on October 28 after five days of vibrant activities that positioned Macao as a global creative hub. The event attracted 185 content creator groups from around the world, amounting to nearly 2 billion fans collectively. This influx of creative talents infused the city with renewed energy and showcased its potential as a youthful, international, and innovative tourist destination.

During the week, creators engaged in intercultural collaborations, exploring Macao's unique blend of heritage and modernity while sharing their creative perspectives. This not only highlighted the city’s dynamic character but also reinforced its role as a cultural crossroads and a significant player in the global creative economy.

The week kicked off and concluded with lively events at Wynn Palace Macau, featuring over 250 creators, industry leaders, and guests. Notable figures included Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director of the MGTO, Ben Wong, Google's Chief Operating Officer for Greater China, and prominent creators such as Alan Chikin Chow and Sean Does Magic, enhancing Macao's international creative profile.

CreatorWeek conferences held at Grand Lisboa Palace Macau drew more than 600 participants who discussed market entry, global expansion, and trends in the creator economy, with representatives from major platforms like YouTube, Meta, and Gold House. The event included four wellness workshops at MGM MACAU, led by star creators Matt Tralli and Jacky Cai, alongside fitness experts Willem Liu and Ryan Narayan, blending creativity with health and lifestyle awareness.

Additionally, the CreatorWeek MeetGreet at The Londoner Macao attracted over 1,700 attendees and featured 40 creators, transforming online engagement into real-life connections. Popular creators Steven He, along with artists Berywam, PSYCHIC FEVER, and XODIAC, collectively boasting millions of fans worldwide, made significant appearances.

The two nights of CreatorWeek Live at Galaxy Macau celebrated cultural exchange through music and performances, featuring artists from South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines. Concurrently, the CreatorWeek Academy hosted about 120 emerging creators for hands-on training in content production, audience engagement, and brand collaboration. Mentors included top creators JordanHudson Matter, Mikey Bustos, and industry leaders like Bing Chen from Gold House and Benny Chu from Meta Greater China.
