Celebrating 25 Years of Focus on Energy

2. On Site Performance Testing - A family-owned enterprise from Chippewa Falls, this company has assisted more than 12,000 Wisconsin homeowners in assessing and improving their home’s energy performance. Their contributions significantly impact the state’s residential energy landscape.

3. David Leeder - With 40 years of experience in the paper industry, Leeder’s commitment to energy efficiency has led to the completion of over 60 energy-saving projects. His innovations not only help mills reduce energy consumption but also disseminate knowledge that empowers future generations to continue this critical work.

4. Kwik Trip - This well-known convenience store chain has ingrained energy efficiency in its operational culture. Over the last two decades, they completed over 1,000 energy-efficient projects, including solar installations and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ensuring they remain competitive and environmentally friendly.

At the ceremony, Governor Evers emphasized that energy efficiency often yields results that aren’t immediately visible – from a well-placed pump in a mill to better insulation in a wall. However, the effects are profound, creating more comfortable homes, brighter classrooms, and stronger businesses.
