About Yamashita Honki Udon
Established in 2012 by Man Yamashita near Meguro Station, Yamashita Honki Udon is renowned for its dedication to crafting authentic Sanuki udon. The brand transitioned to a fully owned entity of Garden Co., Ltd. in June 2017 after acquiring the trademark. The udon is crafted from carefully selected wheat, made and matured in-house for an exceptional chewiness. The broth blends kombu (seaweed) and katsuobushi (dried bonito), finished with special soy sauce for a rich flavor.
In the evenings, customers are welcome to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere accompanied by various beverages. Currently, the restaurant chain proudly operates 19 locations nationwide, primarily throughout the Kanto region, with continued plans for expansion.
