Foundever, a key player in customer experience (CX) solutions, is making a significant stride in establishing its presence in Egypt. The company has announced a strategic expansion plan that includes the creation of an impressive 5,000 new jobs in the coming four years. This initiative will be anchored by the opening of a state-of-the-art contact center located in Luxor, further strengthening its existing operations in Cairo at the Maadi Technology Park and City Stars Business Complex.

The expansion is designed to solidify Egypt's status as a premier destination for global business services. The country has made notable progress, boasting a highly skilled workforce and considerable government support, making it an increasingly attractive location for CX services and IT offshoring. In fact, over the past year, Foundever has experienced remarkable growth in the region, with a surge of 115% and currently serving 15 clients in 14 languages.

The Luxor facility aims to tap into the rich talent pool available in Upper Egypt, thus contributing to socio-economic development in the area. Foundever's investment promises not only to create thousands of new jobs but also to bolster Egypt’s reputation in the international outsourcing industry.

To affirm its commitment, Foundever has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egypt's Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) for four more years, showcasing its long-term investment intentions in both talent and infrastructure development in the country.

According to Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, “This growth mirrors the ongoing success of Egypt's outsourcing industry, which is regarded as one of the most promising sectors in the country and holds a distinguished global standing. The establishment of a new center in Luxor speaks volumes about the increasing confidence in the capabilities of Egyptian talent nationwide.”

He further elaborated that the Ministry is dedicated to fostering an environment conducive to investment, which includes advanced digital infrastructure and comprehensive training programs critical for equipping the workforce with the necessary skills that meet global standards while enhancing their professional development.

The decision to expand operations into Luxor highlights Foundever’s strategy to capitalize on untapped talent and its commitment to elevating Egypt's status as a top-tier offshoring destination.
