PenFed Credit Union Employees Join Forces to Build Home for Veteran Through Habitat for Humanity
On January 6, 2025, employees from PenFed Credit Union, the second-largest federal credit union in the nation, engaged in a meaningful community service project by volunteering their time and skills to build a home for a veteran through Beaches Habitat for Humanity. The home being constructed will become part of the Coastal Haven community on Mayport Road, which aims to provide quality housing for those who have served in the military. Upon completion, the newly built home will be sold to a retired Navy veteran at a price that is manageable for their budget.
