Celebrate the Holiday Season with Little Santa Helpers at GLI

The Global Learner's Institute (GLI) Musashi-Kosugi is gearing up for a special Christmas event titled "Little Santa Helpers Unite!" to be held on Sunday, December 14. This unique occasion promises more than just festive fun—it aims to foster children's intellectual curiosity and kindness by combining English learning, Christmas joy, and social contribution, offering a truly enriching holiday experience.

A Special Celebration for Young Heroes

This year's event is particularly special as GLI seeks to extend help to the children of the Mindanao Children’s Library (MCL) in the Philippines, as well as families affected by the floods in Cebu Island back in November 2025. We encourage the children attending to act as “kind Santas,” engaging in our mission to support those in need.

Through donations from participants and revenue generated during the event, GLI aims to deliver gifts to these children. It will be a heartwarming day where young Santas unite to spread warmth and happiness.

Three Exciting Christmas Challenge Booths

The Christmas event will be filled with activities designed to enhance children’s thinking, English skills, and communication abilities through enjoyment. Participants will have the chance to explore three booths, collecting "magic stars" with each challenge they complete. When they gather all the stars, something magical is bound to happen! Here’s a sneak peek at the activities:

1. Wish Letter & Tree Decoration: Children will have the opportunity to write letters to Santa while decorating the Christmas tree—a creative exercise in expressing heartfelt wishes.

2. Pin the Nose on the Reindeer: This interactive game involves blindfolding participants as they attempt to pin a nose on a reindeer. It's sure to end in laughter and smiles!

3. Jingle Bell Toss: In this engaging party game, children will toss bells into targets, testing their intuition and control, while fueling their competitive spirit.

Closing with a Christmas Carol

The event will conclude with a heartfelt group performance of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The joyful sounds of English carols combined with the warmth of the holiday spirit will create lasting memories for all children involved.

A Gift Exchange to Remember

The enchanting experience continues with a gift exchange. Participants are encouraged to bring a gift valued between 700 and 1,000 yen. They will draw numbers and exchange gifts, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the event.

This seasonal gathering harmoniously blends fun, learning, and compassion—truly a hallmark of GLI’s Christmas celebrations. By participating, children not only enjoy the festivities but also become heroes for someone else.

What to Bring

Participants are kindly asked to bring a gift for the exchange, along with donations for the Philippines, such as stationery and clothing items. Contributions can be accepted until December 21.
