PINCH HITTER JAPAN Inc., headquartered in Isahaya, Nagasaki, has announced that comedian Yoshio Kojima will serve as the special promotion director. Starting February 1, 2026, a new commercial titled "Global" will be aired across various media platforms. This move represents an innovative step for the company, which specializes in purchasing corporate inventory.

The organization operates under the guiding principle of "Turning waste into smiles," providing an inventory buying service that has successfully transacted with over 10,000 companies. In recent years, their annual transaction volume has soared to an impressive 61.7 billion yen. Initially focused on the domestic market, PINCH HITTER JAPAN has leveraged its expertise and begun expanding its operations internationally since 2025. Currently, their services extend to countries including South Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, facilitating the global re-circulation of inventory.

Behind the Scenes


The filming process involved engaging with children aged 4 to 11, who joyfully repeated the line “That has nothing to do with it!”—a classic catchphrase associated with Kojima. Each child brought their unique personality into the shoot, making for memorable scenes. While the kids were initially nervous, the warmth and enthusiasm of Kojima’s performance helped them relax, creating a cheerful atmosphere on set. By the end of the shoot, many children were playfully hanging onto Kojima's arms, showcasing how effortlessly he connected with them both in Japan and overseas.

Yoshio Kojima, born in 1980 in Okinawa, began his career while attending Waseda University as a member of a comedy group. In 2007, he gained notable recognition after placing in the top 10 for the ‘That Has Nothing to Do with It’ phrase at the U-Can New Words and Buzzword Awards, followed by winning the Golden Arrow Awards for Best Newcomer.
