DMEGC Solar Achieves TÜV SÜD Certification for New PV Modules

On November 3rd, 2025, DMEGC Solar, a renowned manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, received the prestigious IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certifications from TÜV SÜD. These certifications pertain to their newly developed ultra-high-power modules, which are built using cutting-edge technology.

A Game Changer in PV Technology

One of the standout products is the Infinity G12RT-B66 series, which boasts dimensions of 2,382 mm x 1,134 mm, making it highly favored for large-scale solar plants as well as rooftop projects. DMEGC Solar is the first company in the photovoltaic industry to implement a novel approach by applying the CJ (cemented junction) technology in their module design. This innovative method utilizes butyl sealant as encapsulant material between the cells and the frame, resulting in significantly improved power output and reliability.

According to TÜV SÜD's certification, the G12RT-B66 module achieves an impressive maximum power output of 655 watts. Notably, this module ranked fifth in the TaiyangNews list of top modules as of October, with a mass production power rating of 635 watts, positioning it slightly below higher-priced BC and HJT modules. Given its favorable balance of system (BOS) costs and levelized cost of energy (LCOE), this module is becoming the preferred choice for project developers and operators.

DMEGC Solar anticipates mass production and shipment of the 650 W variant in Q1 2026, which will further enhance its advantages in energy generation systems, capitalizing on its high reliability.

Compatibility with Conventional Technology

Most notably, this cemented junction technology is compatible with popular technologies such as BC, multi-cut, and full-screen. The Product and R&D teams at DMEGC have revealed ongoing research into various cell and module technologies, with plans to implement one or two in the near future, thus opening new avenues for higher power ratings and generating significant market anticipation.

In addition to achieving TÜV SÜD certification, the CJ modules have surpassed rigorous testing such as the DH2000 in an internal photovoltaic laboratory, showcasing results that exceed those of conventional modules. This confirms the reliability of the technology. DMEGC Solar stands out as one of the few manufacturers simultaneously rated as Tier 1 by BNEF, SP, and SMM.
