The investment will specifically focus on Whirlpool's facilities located in Clyde and Marion, Ohio. This effort is projected to create between 400 and 600 new jobs, solidifying the company’s role as a major employer in the region. The Clyde facility itself, in operation since 1952, is noted as the world’s largest washing machine plant. Meanwhile, the Marion facility, which recently celebrated its 70th anniversary, continues to play a pivotal role in Whirlpool's production capabilities.
