Upcoming JPI Seminar: Insights on Japan's Green Food System Strategy and Biomass Policy



The Japan Planning Institute (JPI) is hosting an insightful seminar on February 5, 2026, focusing on the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries' "Green Food System Strategy" and key developments in biomass policy. This event will feature a keynote address from Takayuki Kimura, the Director of the Environmental Biomass Policy Division of the Ministry.

Seminar Overview


The seminar aims to provide an in-depth explanation of policies associated with the Green Food System Law and successful case studies, alongside an introduction to biomass utilization based on the Biomass Utilization Promotion Basic Act. The seminar also aims to discuss initiatives directed towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
