Organized by LT&R, a subsidiary of CL Holdings based in Minato City, Tokyo, this limited edition release promises to bring joy and deliciousness to fans of these charming characters.

Limited Edition Birthday Treats

The bakery will present two uniquely crafted birthday breads that reflect the cute essence of Chiikawa and Hachiwari. The Chiikawa bread, infused with a delightful blend of custard cream and almond nuts, is designed to warm the heart with its gentle flavors. Meanwhile, the Hachiwari bread features a sweet filling of chocolate cream and chocolate chips that will melt in your mouth, offering a delightful sweet experience.

Both breads are adorned with whimsical birthday hats and bows, making them not only delicious but also visually adorable. In addition to these breads, customers can enjoy vibrant birthday drinks featuring shimmering aurora powder, enhancing the festive celebration.

Who are Chiikawa and Hachiwari?

Created by illustrator Nagano, Chiikawa is a popular series that follows the earnest daily lives of Chiikawa and his friends such as Hachiwari and Usagi. The series has gained immense popularity, turning into a manga published by Kodansha with eight volumes available, and has expanded into merchandise, collaboration cafes, and more.

In April 2022, a TV anime adaptation of Chiikawa began airing on Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV', capturing the hearts of even more viewers. Furthermore, fans can look forward to the movie 'Chiikawa: Secret of the Mermaid Island' set to be released on July 24, 2026, keeping the excitement alive!
