Launch of the Venture Growth Program in Ibaraki



In an exciting development for innovation and entrepreneurship, CIC Institute, founded by CEO Tim Row, alongside Tsukuba Research Center, has introduced the "Venture Growth Promotion Project (Growth Program)" targeted at startups engaged in the deep tech sector in Ibaraki Prefecture. Set to commence officially from April 22, 2025, the program is structured to provide tailored assistance to selected startups. Through comprehensive mentorship, seminars, and networking opportunities, participating companies will receive targeted support to aid in their growth journey until March 31, 2026.

Selection Process and Criteria



Applications will be accepted until June 9, 2025. Around five companies are expected to be selected. To qualify, startups must meet specific criteria:
1. Be a venture company established for less than ten years.
2. Have a base in Ibaraki or a direct correlation with research institutions or universities in the region.
3. Operate within the deep tech industry, focusing on life sciences, environmental technology, electronic devices, or materials.
