On the morning of October 14, 2025, Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, the chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, made a notable visit to the Government of Sharjah Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, held in the Dubai World Trade Centre. This pavilion, representing 20 governmental entities under the theme "Powered by Tech, Driven by People", showcases Sharjah's pioneering digital journey and its vision for a human-centered future.
During his visit, Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi engaged with the latest innovative digital experiences and technology-driven projects presented by the participating governmental entities. These initiatives aim to enhance digital integration in Sharjah, boost governmental effectiveness, and improve the quality of life, reflecting the emirate's goal of a sustainable digital future centered around people.
The pavilion hosts four core ecosystems: Digital Experiences, Environmental Sustainability, Smart Cities, and Our Humanity. Each ecosystem demonstrates proactive solutions that emphasize seamless collaboration among governmental entities, leveraging artificial intelligence and data connectivity to enhance service delivery.
Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi also participated in the activities of the Sharjah Digital Hackathon, organized by the Sharjah Digital Department in collaboration with the Rubu' Qarn Centre for Science and Technology and the Sharjah Youth Council. This initiative aims to strengthen Sharjah's innovation ecosystem, empower youth and government talent, and stimulate the development of AI-powered solutions that improve urban infrastructure and enhance the efficiency and agility of governmental services.
Within the digital experiences segment, the Sharjah Digital Department unveiled its digital assistant, which operates in real-time through both text and voice interfaces. This assistant allows users to access information seamlessly and perform specific administrative tasks instantly via conversation interfaces.
Further, the chairman visited the Aqari platform, a comprehensive digital hub that centralizes real estate services across the emirate. This platform connects various entities through a unified gateway, providing accurate and reliable real estate data, thereby enhancing customer experiences.
Additionally, he explored the Nabni platform, a unified system linking the municipalities of Sharjah to streamline construction procedures through artificial intelligence. Another highlight was the Empower Gov AI, a unified AI tool designed to enable public sector staff to harness AI capabilities in their daily tasks. This assistant connects multiple administrations, automates internal requests, manages access permissions, and boosts the overall productivity of departments.
