BOND Project's Summer Consultation Initiative
The BOND Project, a non-profit organization located in Shibuya, Tokyo, is dedicated to assisting young women aged 10 to 29 who are struggling with life's challenges. As part of their commitment, they have announced the continuation of their consultation services throughout the summer vacation period in 2026.
During the school year, many young individuals find solace in leaving home during the day; however, summer breaks extend the time spent in potentially less supportive home environments. This can magnify feelings of isolation and uncertainty, emphasizing the need for accessible mental health resources.
Consultation Services Offered
The BOND Project has established a robust system for offering support through various platforms:
- - LINE Consultation: Available four days a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 2 PM to 10 PM. During these sessions, young girls can reach out and share their feelings or concerns.
- - Email Support: The organization accepts emails at any time through their dedicated address, allowing for round-the-clock assistance.
- - Phone Consultation: Available on Mondays from 4 PM to 7 PM, providing direct communication for those who prefer a voice interaction.
The response to these services has been remarkable, as they handled 4,250 email consultations, 1,728 phone calls, and 1,445 face-to-face meetings in the past year. It's clear that BOND Project remains committed to being a listening ear and a guiding hand for the vulnerable.

Anonymous Sharing Board: "Silver Shard"
The BOND Project also operates a unique platform called "Silver Shard" on the VOICES website. This bulletin board allows individuals to anonymously share their thoughts without the need for personal identification or account registration. This space can be particularly valuable for those who might feel hesitant to seek direct consultation yet still wish to express themselves.
Among the posts shared, users can write about their daily struggles, uncertainties, or feelings of wanting to disappear. Staff members review these submissions to ensure a supportive atmosphere while maintaining a focus on privacy and anonymity. Occasionally, selected posts may receive a response, known as a
