What is the Corporate Report Awards?

The Corporate Report Awards aims to recognize and evaluate the innovative use of internal reports—both print and web formats—developed by various companies. These reports play a critical role in aligning employees with the organization’s challenges, sharing diverse values, and communicating the corporate direction effectively. The awards encourage submissions that integrate best practices in IC, rewarding not just the design and content but also the underlying purpose and strategic goals of each submission. Each entry receives valuable feedback from a panel of judges, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the event and ensuring that all participants can benefit from shared insights.

In 2024, more than 224 companies submitted 506 proposals, showcasing an increasing commitment to enhancing internal communication. The results for 2025 will be announced in late August.

Expanding Connections in the 24th Event

Having started in 2002, the Corporate Report Awards has evolved annually, adjusting the judging and awarding processes, as well as the format of the event to keep pace with the changing landscape of internal communications. The previous year's event welcomed around 150 companies comprising 370 participants, alongside 20 judges, who gathered in Shibuya Hikarie's A Hall for award presentations, talk sessions with winners, workshops, and networking events.

This year, for the first time, the event will utilize both Hall A and Hall B at Hikarie, promising a space for new connections and learning opportunities among participants. Further details will be announced as the event date approaches. The Corporate Report Awards is not merely about recognizing reports; it aims to assist organizations in addressing challenges and improving corporate culture. We hope to create a collaborative space where all participants—from award-winners to attendees—can learn, honor, and elevate each other.
