XGRIDS Launches Lixel L3 at INTERGEO 2026 with Impressive 5mm Accuracy

XGRIDS Unveils Lixel L3 at INTERGEO 2026

At the INTERGEO 2026 event, XGRIDS, a leading company in spatial intelligence, introduced its latest product, the Lixel L3. This high-precision spatial scanner is designed to redefine how spatial data is captured, boasting a validated accuracy of just 5 millimeters. This breakthrough was demonstrated through documented tests against terrestrial reference data, showcasing Lixel L3’s capabilities.

Innovative Technology and Features

The Lixel L3 integrates a range of cutting-edge technologies, including high-precision LiDAR, a true color imaging system, integrated Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) capabilities, and a user-friendly display. This combination allows for a streamlined workflow that merges geometry, color, positioning, and data delivery, all in one package. The device is capable of covering approximately 100 square meters in just 10 minutes, providing high-accuracy data and photorealistic 3D models, making it especially suitable for large and complex sites.

Verified Accuracy and Performance

With a relative accuracy of 5mm and a real-time absolute accuracy of about 2.5cm, the Lixel L3 employs an integrated SLAM system to ensure stability throughout the scanning process. Additionally, its real-time vision-assisted localization and leveling optimization help to manage drift during longer scanning sessions. Sunny Liao, the International Sales and Marketing Director at XGRIDS, emphasized the importance of maintaining this level of accuracy in the field, stating, "The 5mm relative accuracy only matters if it’s sustained in the field, and the data can be directly integrated into Building Information Modeling (BIM)."

Photorealistic Spatial Capture

The Lixel L3 takes advantage of its high-precision spatial detection combined with a 4K HDR CMOS imaging system, effectively capturing surface color and details alongside precise geometry. From a single scan, it produces colorized point clouds, detailed meshes, and photorealistic 3D models. As 3D model generation becomes more prevalent in various industries, XGRIDS has designed the LCC2 patented format that aligns well with established software platforms like Autodesk’s 3ds Max and Trimble’s SketchUp. This ensures that photorealistic physical assets can be seamlessly integrated into AEC workflows, film and entertainment, and virtual production scenarios.

Field-Ready Design

Engineered for field application, the Lixel L3 features a 4.3-inch display that provides real-time feedback on scanning status, path, and coverage. It supports the fusion of multiple scans without requiring pre-established control points, enhancing usability in dynamic environments. Furthermore, the device incorporates privacy protection measures that allow users to obscure identifiable faces and license plates in compliance with regulations.

The Future of Spatial Imaging

The XGRIDS Lixel L3 combines groundbreaking accuracy with photorealism, raising the bar for the capturing, reconstructing, and leveraging of physical environments. As the trend of integrating photorealistic digital assets into daily workflows spreads, particularly in industries reliant on spatial data, XGRIDS is at the forefront of building the infrastructure that links our physical reality with the digital realm. The introduction of the Lixel L3 marks a significant stride in this journey, highlighting the potential for improved efficiency and accuracy in spatial capture across many applications, from engineering to entertainment.
