Charichari's Latest Venture into Radio: 'Chariraji!'
Charichari, a leading bike-sharing service operated by Charichari Co., Ltd., based in Fukuoka, is set to launch its first-ever terrestrial radio show titled 'Chariraji!' on KBC Radio starting August 9, 2026. This bi-weekly show aims to connect with the local community and promote the mission of making bike-sharing a habitual mode of transport in urban environments.
Show Overview
The new radio program will air for 15 minutes every second and fourth Sunday at 6:45 AM. Hosted by Charichari's CEO, Kentaro Iemoto, the show will delve into various topics surrounding urban mobility and the experiences of its community members. Listeners can also catch the episodes later on platforms such as Radiko and various podcast services.
Bridging Gaps in the Community
Charichari aims to create a profound connection with its users and community partners through 'Chariraji!'. Founded under the goal of enhancing urban transportation habits, Charichari has worked closely with local communities and businesses to address mobility issues. The radio show is conceived as a platform to convey thoughts, feelings, and shared stories between Charichari and the residents of Fukuoka.
This initiative comes on the heels of Charichari's capital partnership with KBC in 2021, whereby both entities sought to enrich the Fukuoka area's vitality through concerted efforts. Previous collaborative activities include establishing bike ports at new KBC buildings and facilitating integrations with local applications, all aimed at bolstering Charichari's usage and visibility.
Content Focus
'Chariraji!' is not just another talk show; it aims to give listeners personal insights into the lives and thoughts of its guests. Each episode will feature engaging discussions with diverse guests who will share their values and how they interact with their city. The intention is for listeners to discover new aspects of urban mobility and perhaps even find hidden treasures within their locality, thereby enriching their daily experience.
Listeners can expect refreshing conversations that challenge their perceptions of mobility and encourage them to explore their surroundings differently. In just 15 minutes, the program intends to inspire and ignite curiosity about the city's pathways.
