JR Tokai Initiates Partnership for AI Edge Data Centers Along Tōkaidō Shinkansen Route

In a significant development for the advancement of AI infrastructure in Japan, East Japan Railway Company (JR Tokai), Preferred Networks (PFN), and Actia have formalized a basic agreement to jointly explore the establishment of AI edge data centers (AI Edge DC) along the Tōkaidō Shinkansen line.
