Discover Yakitori IPPON+ Tokyo
On July 4, 2025, a new culinary gem will open its doors in the heart of Kyobashi, Tokyo—Yakitori IPPON+ Tokyo. This unique izakaya offers a space where adults can savor a refined yet playful dining experience, just a stone's throw from the bustling Tokyo Station and Ginza area. To celebrate its grand opening, Yakitori IPPON+ will present an exclusive omakase course at a special price of 3,500 yen (regularly 4,800 yen) for a limited two-week period.
A Journey Through Flavors
At the core of Yakitori IPPON+ is its signature dish—yakitori. Diners can expect chicken skewers that are grilled to perfection, seasoned with carefully selected Okinawan sea salt and topped with a house-made tare sauce that features various ingredients and foreign spices. Notably, the restaurant offers a selection of innovative skewers that highlight the unique tastes of different chicken parts, enhancing the experience with special sauces and spices.
In addition to yakitori, guests will be delighted by the restaurant's other star dish—“Sakuzukuri Hosomaki,” or sake side rolls. Using a gentle red rice, these light bites are perfect accompaniments to drinks. Despite their simple construction of thinly rolled seaweed with light fillings, these rolls will surprise diners with modern twists, offering options like “Negitoro Namimaki,” “Uni with Karasumi,” and “Unagi with Sansho Cream Cheese.”
Special Opening Omakase Course
To mark this special occasion, guests can savor the unique combination of these two featured dishes along with an array of appetizers crafted by the chef based on that day’s fresh ingredients. The omakase course will showcase a spectrum of flavors, giving visitors a taste of carefully selected Japan-based brands of sake that pair perfectly with the meal.
The opening omakase course includes:
- - Five seasonal appetizers, such as chilled chawanmushi and roasted duck with eggplant.
- - Five skewers of yakitori, including chicken thigh and hand-formed truffle cream chicken meatballs.
- - Two varieties of sake side rolls, such as marinated tuna rolls and crab miso rolls.
- - A sweet ending with Noto salt gelato.
(Please note that the menu items are examples and may vary based on availability.)

The interior features a distinctive V-shaped counter allowing diners to observe the chefs at work, enhancing the overall dining experience.
