Palistar Capital Combines U.S. Wireless Assets for Major Telecom Growth

Palistar Capital's Strategic Move in Wireless Infrastructure

Palistar Capital, a prominent alternative asset manager concentrating on mission-critical communications and digital infrastructure, has announced the integration of its wireless assets into a single entity known as Symphony Towers Infrastructure. This merger marks a significant milestone for the company, positioning it among the top five private telecom infrastructure platforms in the United States.

Formation of Symphony Towers Infrastructure

On January 14, 2025, Palistar confirmed that it would be consolidating its wireless assets, originally managed by Symphony Wireless, a dedicated affiliate responsible for cell site acquisitions, with CTI Towers, a notable player in Palistar's investment portfolio. This strategic combination will enhance the management and marketing of an extensive network consisting of approximately 3,000 assets that span all 50 states. The transition also involves rebranding Symphony Wireless to Symphony Towers Infrastructure.

The leadership of this newly formed entity will be under the guidance of Bernard Borghei, a seasoned expert in the telecommunications infrastructure field, bringing with him over 30 years of experience. His previous roles include co-founder of Vertical Bridge, one of the leading tower companies.

Vision for Growth and Development

The establishment of Symphony Towers is aimed at fostering growth within the wireless tower portfolio through both organic and inorganic strategies. This includes the acquisition of new portfolio additions alongside individual wireless infrastructure assets.

Omar Jaffrey, the Founder and Managing Partner of Palistar Capital, expressed enthusiasm about how this merger would benefit clients and enhance the long-term commitment to wireless and digital infrastructure investments. He stated, “This combination reflects our dedication to providing top-tier digital infrastructure solutions and positions us to further expand our investments in high-quality U.S. wireless frameworks.”

Leadership Goals and Operational Efficiency

CEO Bernard Borghei emphasized that the unification of Symphony Wireless and CTI Towers will result in improved operational efficiency and enhanced business operations. By merging the capabilities of both teams, Symphony Towers aims to leverage the extensive Wireless Tower Portfolio to deliver exceptional service and operational value to its clientele.

Borghei outlined the priorities for Symphony Towers, which include driving organic growth by providing industry-leading solutions while simultaneously pursuing further acquisitions of wireless towers and other related real estate assets. The company is dedicated to adding value throughout the tower ecosystem, from wireless carriers and tower operators to cellular site owners.

A Commitment to Excellence

David Bacino, CEO of CTI Towers, echoed Borghei’s sentiments, stating pride in the value offered to customers across the wireless, cable, and broadcasting sectors. Bacino will step back into his role as Operating Partner at Palistar following the conclusion of this merger.

The combined efforts of Palistar, Symphony Towers, and CTI Towers signal a robust commitment to advancing telecom infrastructure in the U.S. and ensuring efficient management of the growing needs of the digital communications market.
