The analysis scored these combinations exceptionally high—Famichiki and grapefruit chu-hi achieved a remarkable 97.6 points, while Famichiki Red with Cabernet Sauvignon scored 96.0 points. Both pairings illustrate how the savory flavors of the fried chicken complement the acidity and bitterness of the selected drinks, creating a harmonious gastronomic experience. Additionally, all eight analyzed alcoholic products scored above 90 points, indicating strong compatibility with both Famichiki variants.

Insights on Flavor Balance



The salts and umami elements in Famichiki and Famichiki Red particularly resonate well with bitter and sour drinks. This research implies that pairing Famichiki with dry sake or wine enhances its rich flavor, while Famichiki Red becomes even more distinct when partnered with sweet sake or wine.
