AFS Global STEM Innovators scholarships. This initiative is designed for U.S. youth aged 15 to 17 and aims to provide them with the essential skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing global environment.
Program Overview
The AFS Global STEM Innovators program offers a transformative six-week experience, comprising a mixture of virtual learning and an immersive in-person workshop. This full-scholarship initiative is targeted at 30 passionate young individuals who are eager to deepen their understanding of STEM principles and sustainable practices.
Program Structure:
- - Virtual Exchange: This online segment runs from May 30 to June 29, 2025, allowing participants to engage with a specially curated curriculum that bridges STEM education with real-world sustainability issues.
- - In-Person Workshop: Taking place in Houston, TX, from July 18 to July 24, 2025, this weeklong workshop will expand on the concepts learned during the virtual phase, providing additional opportunities for hands-on experiences, field trips, and interactions with industry leaders.
