Ginza Craft Beer Commemorates 10 Years with Unique Original Brews

Ginza Craft Beer: A 10-Year Celebration

In a remarkable celebration of its tenth anniversary, Brewinbar Inc. is set to offer a unique experience in Ginza with its original craft beers during the "Ginza Machi Bar 2026" gourmet event. The event will run for 21 days from April 6 to April 26, 2026. This year’s theme, “500 years ago and 500 years into the future,” immerses visitors in a journey through time, artfully captured in a pint.

The Inspiration Behind the Brew

The two distinct original beers—"Ginza Time 2000s - NE IPA" and "Ginza Time 1500s - Rauch"—each embody different eras in Japanese brewing history. The New England IPA, which reflects contemporary trends, pairs exceptionally with the Rauch, a traditional style dating back approximately 1500 years. Starting April 6, only 200 bottles of each will be available, showcasing the rich tapestry of Ginza's past while inviting guests to envision the future.

Limited Edition Release

These limited-edition beers are priced at 330 ml per bottle, with each type limited to just 100 bottles, ensuring exclusivity for craft beer enthusiasts and collectors alike. Participants in the Ginza Machi Bar event can purchase one bottle per ticket at the designated ticket sales location situated in the Tsukamoto Soya Building in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

Brewinbar Inc. and Ginza’s Brewing Legacy

Brewinbar operates the “Orca Ginza Brewery,” born from the establishment of the beloved “Mondo” bar that has been serving patrons since 1985. With a focus on blending tradition and innovation, they strive to create beers that are both locally inspired and creatively brewed. This unique perspective allows them to develop products that resonate with the culture of Ginza—a neighborhood defined by its historical significance and modern vibrancy.

Crafting Connections

The mission of Orca Ginza Brewery extends beyond beer production. They aim to foster connections between people through their craft. As visitors from all over Japan and beyond flock to Ginza, Orca prioritizes creating memorable experiences. Their approach is grounded in understanding that each sip of beer connects drinkers to centuries of brewing culture, both local and international. By embodying this ethos, they create an inviting environment where brewers and patrons can share in a communal experience.
