DXC Technology Launches Global AI Center to Drive Enterprise AI Implementation

DXC Technology Launches Global AI Center of Competence

In a significant move to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across various industries, DXC Technology, a leading Fortune 500 technology services provider, announced the launch of its new AI Center of Competence located in Warsaw, Poland. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the capabilities of organizations worldwide in leveraging AI technologies.

The Warsaw center is set to work with a team of 500 experts in data and AI, who possess extensive knowledge across multiple sectors. Their primary mission is to assist businesses in utilizing AI to foster innovation, streamline their operations, enhance efficiency, and effectively reduce costs. This expertise is already proving beneficial, as seen in the collaboration with the global infrastructure giant, Ferrovial.

Ferrovial, which employs over 25,000 people globally and is listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange, is currently partnering with DXC's engineers to develop the AI Workbench platform. This next-generation generative AI tool integrates consulting services, engineering, and secure enterprise capabilities. It is designed to support organizations as they scale responsible AI practices throughout their operations.

Utilizing AI Workbench, Ferrovial has significantly improved its real-time operational management processes and elevated safety standards within its operations. The platform is equipped with more than 30 intelligent agents, which can make real-time decisions. This functionality allows Ferrovial to rapidly respond to changing conditions and regulatory requirements.

Javier Lázaro, the Digital Hub Director at Ferrovial, expressed enthusiasm about leveraging DXC's expertise through the new AI Center in Warsaw. He stated, “We are working closely with DXC's engineers on the development of AI Workbench, which we are already utilizing across our organization to optimize decision-making and improve safety.”

The AI Center of Competence is strategically centered around three key pillars: a resilient cloud infrastructure, intuitive AI interfaces, and a centralized hub for research and development. This framework empowers organizations to fully exploit the capabilities of AI, simplify cloud operations, and uphold the highest data security measures available.

Pete McEvoy, DXC's Managing Director for Data and AI, highlighted the center's holistic approach. He noted, “The AI Center of Competence is not merely about building technology; it's about fostering a global ecosystem that emphasizes continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.” He assured that the experts in Poland would collaborate with their global colleagues and clients, crafting solutions that have a real impact across different industries and regions.

DXC's AI Center is an integral part of its expanding network of AI facilities, which already includes similar centers in Bulgaria, India, the Philippines, and Spain. Positioned as a leader in enterprise-scale AI and data modernization, DXC Technology enables organizations from various sectors to harness AI's transformative power to drive growth, enhance efficiency, and spur innovation. With decades of experience in engineering and data management, DXC offers secure and scalable solutions that range from generative AI platforms like the DXC AI Workbench to industry-specific AI agents.
