Huawei Unveils Groundbreaking AI Solutions at MWC 2026

During the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Huawei made significant strides in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) by presenting 115 unique case studies in partnership with global customers. This event, branded as the 2026 Digital and Intelligent Industrial Transformation Summit, served as a platform for Huawei to explore innovative AI practices with its customers and collaborators under the theme “Towards General Intelligence in Industry.” In addition, Huawei launched an impressive 22 new AI solutions aimed at various sectors such as energy, manufacturing, retail, finance, logistics, Internet service provision, media, public utilities, and smart city initiatives.

Huawei's framework, called ACT (Assess, Calibrate, Transform), outlines a comprehensive approach to integrating AI into industrial settings. This framework comprises three critical steps necessary for achieving full-scale industrial AI. The first step emphasizes assessing high-value scenarios where AI can deliver impactful results, leading Huawei to help identify over 1,000 key production scenarios favorable for AI involvement.

The second step further refines AI by calibrating its models using high-quality vertical data. To ensure the reliability and security of the AI life cycle, Huawei has implemented a six-layer security model, which reinforces the structural integrity of its AI applications. The third and final stage focuses on transforming business operations with the expertise and talents of AI professionals—highlighting the importance of inter-disciplinary knowledge in both industry operations and AI technology.

At the summit, numerous customers from various sectors shared transformative insights, alongside Huawei's Vice President, Nicholas Ma. Industry leaders such as those from Eskom, Shandong Port Group, and Converge ICT presented their experiences and strategies involving AI. This collective sharing of knowledge showcases the real-world applications and potential of AI technologies across diverse fields.

With its SHAPE 2.0 initiative, Huawei updated its partner framework to incorporate AI as a core component, offering five transformative upgrades. These enhancements include product updates that integrate AI into new solutions, an improved collaboration mechanism for innovation, and a comprehensive capability development model focused on equipping partners with AI implementation skills through certification courses. Furthermore, Huawei is set to deploy more than 3,000 AI experts to accelerate the growth of its partners and catalyze advancements in AI applications in at least 38 industries.

During the event, Huawei highlighted 22 cutting-edge AI solutions that were developed in collaboration with its partners. These innovations are poised to redefine operational efficiencies, with applications ranging from smart energy management systems to interactive retail platforms equipped with AI-driven analytics.

In summary, Huawei's showcase at MWC 2026 not only reaffirmed its commitment to AI-driven industrial transformation but also emphasized collaboration with global partners to foster an intelligent future. As AI technologies continue to evolve, Huawei’s ongoing initiatives signify a meaningful step towards integrating smarter solutions into everyday business operations and public welfare projects. The company's vision for the future revolves around creating a connected, intelligent ecosystem where AI plays a pivotal role in enhancing both efficiency and productivity across multiple sectors.
