About Dan Emoto
Dan Emoto is a celebrated ballet dancer born on September 26, 1989, in Kyoto. He began ballet at the age of five, joining the Tokyo Ballet in 2008 and rising to principal dancer in 2013. His recent performances include leading roles in renowned productions at the Vienna State Opera and La Scala. Emoto is currently the only Japanese male dancer permitted to perform Maurice Béjart’s masterpiece, “Boléro,” solidifying his place in ballet history.
